Where to find Plebiscite Results

Posted by One Pictou County on 27 May 2016

Returning Officer Josephine MacDonald says that citizens will be able to access official plebiscite results online once polls close at 7:00 pm on Saturday, May 28.

A dedicated webpage for results can be found at: munpict.ca/elections.

The website will contain both text and graphical representations of the results and will be reported for each ward and district. The results of the special election for District 3 will also be posted there. Results should be available within 1 – 1.5 hours of the polls closing. All results will be reported at once.

Additionally, local news media will be reporting that the evening. The Advocate and The News will have reporters at the returning office when the polls close and will be sharing updates via their websites, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The Advocate: www.pictouadvocate.com, Facebook (ThePictouAdvocate), Twitter @PictouAdvocate.

The News: www.ngnews.ca, Facebook (NewGlasgowNews) and Twitter @ngnews

ECFM 94.1 will be providing updates in 15-minute intervals throughout the evening beginning at 8:00 pm.

Results will also be available at www.onepictoucounty.ca, Facebook (1PictouCounty), and Twitter @OnePictouCounty.
